Built as a repeatable steel structure, it can incorporate brass elements and inserted cabinetry depending on use and setting.
The system allows for open shelving, closed storage, or a combination of both, without altering its proportions or rhythm.
It’s available as a configurable system and can be adapted to different spaces.

Shelving 07: Biography is a modular wall system composed of precision-fabricated steel uprights and warm brass detailing, designed to function as both architecture and display. The vertical steel structure supports a series of slender shelves that create a rhythmic, linear field, while the brass-wrapped lower cabinets introduce a sculptural counterweight and quiet luminosity.
The system is conceived as an evolving portrait of the objects it holds—books, artifacts, personal accumulations—allowing each installation to become a narrative of use. Designed and built in Canada, the piece balances industrial clarity with a refined material palette, making it ideal for residential interiors, retail environments, and gallery spaces.
